MamaSita Adobo Savory Sauce Mix

This garlicky concoction of spices serves as a perfect base for Authentic Filipino Adobo.

ADOBO RECIPE: (Makes 8-10 servings)

• 1 pouch (50 g) Mama Sita's Savory Sauce (Adobo) Mix
• 2.2 lbs (1 kg) Meat, cut into 1½° cubes
• 1 cup (250 mL) Water
• 2 tbsp (30 mL) Cooking oil

1. Dissolve Mama Sita's Savory Sauce (Adobo) Mix in water. Pour mixture over meat. Marinate for 15 minutes.
2. Remove meat from marinade and pan fry in hot oil until edges turn golden brown.
3. Pour in the marinade and bring to a boil.
4. Lower the heat and simmer until meat is tender and sauce has thickened. Add water as needed.
